It's been a slightly frantic month for the Bad Influence. Both wireless and wired, I could only connect locally. I repaired. I went through the whole disable, reboot, enable schtick. I baffled some nice support guys on the Tech Support guy forums. I found out Dell support was less than useless (though I'm keeping up my warranty with them because I don't fancy having to buy and replace laptop parts myself). System restore wouldn't run even. I did finally figure out that with Vista, system restore only works booted in safe mode which is good information to have. It didn't fix the problem though. I had to do a factory reset. I was wicked pissed over that.

Anyway, I'll get back to posting now that things seem to be running smoothly. I know I still have the final episode of Battlestar Galactica to comment on. I would have done it sooner but I cried several times watching it and didn't want to face that it was over. Posting felt like it would confirm that. I may even add in some commentary on the original BG. A friend lent it to me and I finally had a chance to watch it all the way through.

The Bad Influence is ready to be naughty again.
