I had a little blip in my fitness plans this week. As I mentioned before, I did not do a Saturday workout because I was sore from helping with the car. On Sunday and Monday, I did two 3 song workouts. I think this may have been a little too much for my back because after using a neti pot to flush my sinuses on Monday afternoon, everything went horribly wrong. I soldiered through Tuesday at work but ended up leaving early but scheduled an appointment with my doctor for the next day. The doctor thinks it is a combination of strained muscles and a pinched sciatic nerve. I'm on 800 mg of ibuprofen and 10 mg of Flexeril every 8 hours. It's helping some. I am moving a bit better. I hope it's improved by Saturday because I'm supposed to go on a prednisone regimen if it doesn't improve in a few days. I really don't want to do a prednisone regimen. I'm going to be off workouts until Sunday at the earliest. It's a shame because I've lost 7 pounds in 2 weeks just with Just Dance 2 and switching from ginger ale to lemonade at work.
