Hawaii Five-0

CBS has brought a piece of classic TV Americana back to life in the 2010-2011 season.  They premiered Hawaii Five-0 in September and now we're all riding the wave.  Lt. Commander Steve McGarrett's father (a Hawaiian cop) is killed by a terrorist he (Steve) has been chasing for years.  While back in Hawaii for his father's funeral, Steve is approached by the governor to head a special task force to go after guys like the one who killed his father.  For his task force, McGarrett pulls in the New Jersey transplant detective handling his father's case, Danny Williams; one of his father's proteges, Chin Ho Kelly; and Chin's cousin, the new officer, Kono Kalakaua.  As a team, the Five-0 investigates a wide range of serious crimes from kidnapping to murder.  Hawaii Five-0 airs on Monday nights on CBS at 10 pm EST.
