The citizens of Eureka lose all sense of self-control and do and say whatever they please. With only Jack and Zoe unaffected, he must find the cause on is own.
Jack: No buts. If I have to come back, I'm bringing a stungun and a weedwacker.
Allison: Don't the two of you ever get tired for bickering?
Nathan & Jack: Not really.
Jack: People are having a little trouble controlling their impulses so I'm just going to save you from yourself.
Allison: You're a dead woman.

Zoe: Everyone's gone schizo. The school's completely out of control Kids fighting and making out in the hallways. Teachers apathetic.
Jack:So more like normal school then?
