While helping Pete retrieve an artifact, Myka spots the man who killed her former partner and restarts the investigation into his death with her former colleagues. Steve and Claudia get artifactjacked and must use a stray dog to get information on the thief. J. August Richards and Yancey Arias guest star.
Pete: Good, you're back to being Myka. Now I shall go back to being Pete.
Myka: When something has no explanation, there can only be one explanation.
Pete: Leo has an artifact?
Artie: I suppose you've got several of those bon mot at the ready.
Claudia: More than 5, less than 100.
Artie: Hooray.
Jinks: I've got 3
Pete: You know, Myka, you only fail if you give up.
